And, as the world’s largest Muslim-majority country, is already one of the main players, with a local fashion industry now estimated to be worth $6.6 billion dollars a year. But local designers and retailers – led by an industry group called the Indonesian Islamic Fashion Consortium – are hoping to expand the Islamic fashion component of the industry even more by drawing up a road map to make Indonesia the “capital” of global Islamic fashion by 2020.

Right now, Malaysia, Thailand and France are among the leading Islamic fashion hubs, industry officials say.



Long known as a relatively secular Muslim nation, Indonesia has seen an increase in the number of women wearing hijab, or Islamic dress in recent years, which some analysts have attributed to rising Islamic conservativeness.


“The creativity of these young (Indonesian) designers is endless,” said Jetti Hadi, editor-in-chief of local Islamic fashion magazine Noor and a co-founder of the consortium. “Their designs are fashionable but still adhere to the Islamic rules of modesty, which means that the clothes are loose-fitting and do not reveal the shape of women’s bodies.”

A rising middle class in Southeast Asia’s largest economy has also fuelled a boom in the domestic fashion industry.

The sharia unit of the state-owned Bank Rakyat Indonesia has embraced the Muslim fashion aficionados by issuing a debit card that also serves as a membership card for the “Hijabers Community,” which has 77,000 “likes” on Facebook and almost 57,000 followers on Twitter.

salam waleykum dear readers, It has been a very very busy month I barely have time to post but here it is a nice tutorial that I found,the most simple yet fun and chic canvas bag, this simple steps will help you insh'allah to creat a beautiful one.

Supplies: Canvas bag (here an other tutorial of how to do it), fabric paint, paper doily, Krylon Paper Finishes Adhesive Spray
Step 1: Spray doily with paper spray adhesive and press down on the bag (not shown). (Using Krylon Paper Finishes adhesive allows the doily to stick in place while you paint, but it easily pulls off without leaving a sticky mess behind after you paint.)



Step 2: Gently paint over the holes – Is recommended paint meant for fabric, not crafts. Fabric paint will be more durable.

Step 3: Peel back doily before paint dries. The doily might tear, just peel off the pieces
paint your initials and iron it.

This styles are from an other local shop in egypt, the styles are not more different from the yesterday's post, but the location is beautiful, what more Egyptian than the Piramids of Giza?

Ok so here it is a new option on styles for all of us, although I think less is more in this occasion, is understandable that you want to feature more clothes in just one shot, so the models are wearing in my opinion pieces that will be better if you use them alone.


I love that the hijab stylist is covering completely neck,ears and hair of the models, something we don't see more in fashion.

Salam every body, is there a fashion trend called "Hijabi Fashion"? hahahaha, it just sounds a bit no sense for me. I believe fashion is for every body and hijab well, who knows?, could be for every body too, don't you think.

oh one little favor...please, please if you are a real Muslim stop saying "Marry Christmas or happy holidays"! ,you may think that is kind of rude not to answer with the same wishes when someone tell you marry Christmas but think about it twice, who should you grant, Allah or a simple human being?

The Make-up


Leave it to Peter Philips, creative director of Chanel makeup, to create yet another gorgeous makeup look to complement the equally beautiful Chanel pre-fall collection. For the show, Philips drew inspiration from Southeast Asia and reinterpreted the kohl-rimmed eyes and bindi frequently seen on the region's beauty icons. Head pieces and bindi received the obligatory Chanel treatment and were fashioned using chains, pyramid studs, and pearls. To help balance out the bling factor of the head pieces, Philips emphasized the eyes with heavily-smoked lids and lush lashes, and kept the rest of the face bare and natural. Read on to find out which Chanel products Philips used for this ultra-glam look!

"Start by perfecting the complexion using Perfection Lumiere Long Wear Flawless Fluid Makeup SPF 10, which you'll apply all over the face," says Philips. "Then, dab Eclat Lumiere Highlighting Face Pen over the high points of your face, such as your cheek bones and the bridge of your nose to add extra dimension. Cover up blemishes and dark circles using Correcteur Perfection Long Lasting Concealer in your skin tone." To achieve the dramatic eyes in this collection, Philips lined eyes with Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner in Ebene to keep the heavy eye makeup from running. Then, he smudged Le Crayon Khol Intense Eye Pencil in Black around the lashline to add depth and create a smoky effect. "I curled lashes with Chanel's Precision Eyelash Curler and applied a generous coat of Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Black," says Philips, who also used Chanel's limited edition Illusion D'ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in Nirvana, (available in stores June 2012) around the entire eye and gave it a winged edge at the outer corners.

To finish off the look, Philips used more Chanel products debuting in summer 2012. "I used Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Brume d'Or to add a rosy tint to the cheeks and the new Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine in Empreinte."
