why people fight Islam????

when I married my husband I was catholic, and my husband and I used to have this conversations about religion, we always tried to defend our religion against the other, so here is when my husband started to speak things about the bible and Catholicism that I don't even known about, then, that makes me search for more information about it and for things that me as a Catholic, should know about it, but instead of being more convinced to defend my religion I started to be more ....................lets called confused...and why?...because what "El honey"(I call my husband like that) was saying about it was actually true, and believe me ,I make a good research about all(I was studding science and I really use to make a scientific research and I like to be sure about all)then I began to look at him, he always looks convinced that Allah is the only one who has the power over all us, and the only one who can change things, and so many things that only when you have the opportunity to live among Muslims you can appreciate the difference between the "life full of freedom" and a "life whit the real happiness".

When I wasn't Muslim I had never thought about have kids not even get married,(maybe just live with my couple but with out compromise).....does it sound to you familiar??
this is the kind of thoughts that non Muslims have, the freedom is what all want...

I can tell you that since I'm Muslim I really change my list of important things in my life and now that I'm mom, I tray to be more responsible human being and really fear Allah, when I speak with my friends or family I can see who I was because I saw them and listening them speak ,I can see my self in the past and I'm not proud of it.

Now I like to read about Islam and every time I come inside a web page where the suppose intellects in religion matters try to explain why Islam is not a god religion and bla bla bla, I get angry because other people read that, and believe it with out really probe that what they are Reading is really true (you can see an example here) all fear Islam because that makes to the non Muslims feel how wrong they are, every time they see a woman covered or a men how really respect his wife and family; it makes me remember when one time some one said to el honey that one woman try to literally have oral sex with him at work, she took down the zipper of his pants when he was working with people in front him so he will can't move because the people will see him.......this woman had planned well so that he could do nothing...but he actually refused it and nothing happened) so, they tray to corrupt the others, they want to make all be wrong as they are ,then in tis way they will can't feel that they are wrong , bacause all then are wrong, but if something good is beside someting wrong or bad, then you can really see the difference...and maybe that's what scare them and makes them fight in any way Islam and Muslims.............

Cairo: “Um al-Dunya,” - “Mother of the World.”

Cairo has a population of 16 million people. It sits on the banks of the Nile in the northern part of Egypt. The oldest part of the city is east of the Nile and to the west are the agricultural areas. The western part of the city has wide boulevards, beautiful public gardens and open areas. The eastern half of the old city is a mixture of crowded tenements with small lanes and random buildings.

There are hundred of old mosques in the eastern half of the city and the western half is filled with modern architecture and government buildings.

Bridges link Cairo to Giza and west of Giza is the ancient necropolis of Memphis, which sits on the Giza plateau. The pyramids are approximately 11 miles from Cairo.

Modern Cairo is soon 150 years old. It was projected with Paris in mind. As Haussmann had drawn wide boulevards through the old and narrow streets of central Paris, so wanted the ruler of Egypt, Khedive Ismail. The occasion was the opening of the Suez Canal: he wanted to impress kings and politicians of Europe.

To large extent, he succeeded. Modern Cairo can remind of Paris, but due to the difference of economical strength between the two countries, many of the houses of modern Cairo is often in bad need of repair. Also, exhaust is today the most common paint in use here.

From Gezira island, overlooking the Nile in direction south. Roda Island, Giza to the right, Cairo proper to the left. Just in front, the the Opera House and the Gezira Sheraton Hotel.

The citadel

The Citadel was for 700 years the strategic stronghold for Cairo, overlooking the city, and easy to defend. It was first occupied in 810 by the governor, who built his Dome of the Wind pavillion. But it was first in 1176 that Saladin turned it into a fortress, much inspired by the fortresses of Syria and Palestine, used by the armies during the Crusades.

The outer walls of the Citadel seem from the (now closed) Azab gate. The Muhammad Ali Mosque in the background.

The back of the Citadel, here dominated by the Burg el-Muqattam, near the Gabal gate. The minaret of Mosque of Sultan al-Nasir in the back.

The two grand mosques are the 14th century Sultan Hassan to the left, and the 19th to 20th century Rifai to the right. In front of them, the smaller 16th century Akhur Mosque. Cairo, Egypt.

Mosque of Muhammad Ali at the top of the Citadel. Cairo, Egypt.

Al-Azhar Mosque. It was founded in the late 10th century, but nothing remains of the original mosque in cairo.

Egyptians refer to Cairo as “Um al-Dunya,” or “Mother of the World.” Culturally and politically, it is at the heart of the Arab world.
To be continue...

We should not seek love and attention from people before we seek it from Allah

Lifting the veil of silence on hijab

By Ahmed Maged and Sarah O. Wali
First Published: July 11, 2008

few months ago an Egyptian news paper published this article about some Muslims girls who have been removed their veil or hijab, some explain their reasons....

but firs I want to clarify something about this matter:

  • We should not seek love and attention from people before we seek it from Allah

  • wear Higab is an order from Allah written in the Koran:

    surat An-Nur

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like palms of hands or one eye or both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron, etc.), and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms, etc.) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husband's sons, their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful.

  • In Egypt there is a lot of girls who doesn't wear it althougth been Muslims

  • There is a lot of veiled girls who smoke Shisha in the public coffee shops, wear sexy.clothes, behave indecent, etc, etc, etc.

  • The Hijab is a Woman decision to wear it or no.

  • Hijab doesn't makes me feel less than other person.

  • Hijab doesn't reduce my self-confidence.

  • since I wore it I feel more secure.

  • Not use some one is not what you thought you should leave away your beliefs.

  • Only Allah knows best what is inside the hearts of every one.

In addition to all that, the parents roll in the family is very important, many of this young girls are in the edge where they need more guidance and here is where the parents should intervene in their education and support.

Do the parents know that their daughters are smoking?

Do they know that they have meetings with guys behind their backs?

This is a huge problem here in Egypt, more of the parents of this girls are now older and they can't speak with this young girls, for them they are too old and don't know "fashion"(I know few in this case), the good behave and education keep this country safe and secure, here you walk on the streets at any time and you feel the peace, this close education(as the west see it) is what keep our girls safe(who follow the Islam orders), while in other places girls in the same edge are getting pregnat with out know their baby father in more of the cases, here girls are getting married and forming a family by their own.

We as parents are responsible for the good behave and education of our children doesn't matter their edge.

There's no ugly women....

only women without economic resources to acquire the necessary beauty products and look like celebrities.

here is the prove.....any super star without make up looks like any one of us when we just wake up in morning...

but, is always good to know that there's some make up artist using bargain priced designer store finds including Max Factor, Cover girl, Maybelline and L'Oreal.

one of those artist is PAT MCGRATH who is among the top names in the make up industry today, she has been the creative design director for Global Procter & Gamble Beauty and their CoverGirl and Max Factor brands since 2004. Ms. McGrath has worked with nearly every top fashion designer.

Because Ms. McGrath most likely has some Max Factor or CoverGirl products in her kit, frequent contributions by her to runway shows give these drugstore brands a dash of high-fashion allure and a presence that they wouldn’t otherwise have in the tents. She is known for highly creative touches, like the rhinestones on the lips of models at John Galliano’s show in Paris last fall for spring 2008, as well as many of the faces on the runways at Bryant Park last month, including the gold-highlighted eyes at the Anna Sui show, the cherry-red lips for Peter Som and the lavender lids for Max Azria

Other products that she has helped create include CoverGirl TruShine Lipcolor and the liquid eyeliner Line Exact, which hit shelves last summer.

I made this post because today I changed my look, after some time without had made something different.....the reason.....not enough resources to do it, there was always more important things to cover than a make up, hair paint or hair cut, but discovering what you can make without have to expend a fortune to be pretty and because tomorrow is my birth day then I guess that I deserve it!! :)...sorry I'll not post pics of my, but the honey was so placed with my look...and that's the important. :)
