I really laugh as a crazy when I found this picture in a suppose "Makeup artist" promo page
I really believe there is a serious problem in Egypt, something is happening, where is the talent?, I haven't found a real Makeup artist, someone professional that you can hire without ending like this girls on the pic.

I deleted her name, this is not directed only to one person but to all who try to "Modernize" the Hijab look by adding this extravagant Makeup style, I think not even a no-hijabi will use this,Am I Wrong?

You still don't believe me ?....
This is an other example this time from an Egyptian Program, look to the hostess (Right)If you wear skinny jeans, the Cinderella hair do is a big NO, what about Bushra(Left) an Egyptian Actress, she have a 3 floor hair do perhaps she didn't wanted to feel less front the host of the program and decided to add some (or a huge should I say?) height to her hair do.......My point here is who in the world hired the Hair stylist responsible for this looks?

One more from the same program, As you can see the trend of Cinderella continues, this time featuring the stepmother Looks,What happen to all that Cleopatra's legacy?

Silver hijab Wedding-Engagement Inspiration

Choosing the right wedding color theme for your celebration may seem overwhelming. But the truth is, it's easier than you think. The key to creating a stylish and successful wedding color combo is understanding the relationship between colors -- and no, you don't need a degree from art school to absorb the ideas. Just find a starting place (your favorite hue, your forest green setting), then work from there.

A silver wedding theme is timeless and elegant. It is ideal for any wedding at any time of the year, and is a very easy color theme to coordinate. You can use a silver wedding theme to design a chic and stylish wedding by adding an accent color in a seasonal hue to tailor it to the time of the year in which you will be married and don't forget the hijab!.

Extra Crispy Jalapeno Poppers Recipe- Que viva Mexico!

8:08 PM that's me 0 Comments

Mexico is celebrating The Grito de Dolores ("Cry of Dolores") also known as El Grito de la Independencia ("Cry of Independence"), was uttered from the small town of Dolores, near Guanajuato on September 16, 1810. It is the event that marks the beginning of theMexican War of Independence. The "grito" was the pronunciamiento of the Mexican War of Independence by Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, a Roman Catholic priest. Since October 1825, the anniversary of the event is celebrated as Mexican Independence Day.

Each year on the night of September 15 at around eleven in the evening, the President of Mexico rings the bell of the National Palace in Mexico City. After the ringing of the bell, he repeats a cry of patriotism (a Grito Mexicano) based upon the "Grito de Dolores", with the names of the important heroes of the Mexican War of Independence

And nothing more mexican the the Jalapenos, here a simple yet delicious recipe of Extra Crispy JALAPENO POPPERS,Although their origin is unclear, Jalapeno poppers are most likely an Americanized version of the classic Mexican dish,Chile Relleno.

Ingredients
12 Jalapeno Peppers
3 tbsp grated Onion
8 oz room temperature Cream Cheese
2 cloves grated Garlic
3/4 cup Monterey Jack Cheese
3/4 cup Sharp White Cheddar
1/3 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano
2 tbsp chopped Cilantro
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 cup Panko
Cooking Spray
Salt & Pepper

Directions

1   Preheat oven to 400 F.
2   Trim off the top 1/3 of the peppers, but leave the stem.
3   Chop the tops and set them aside.
4   Remove seeds and ribs from the peppers. Be careful not to rub your eyes or skin after doing this.
5   Combine onion, garlic, Monterey Jack, Cheddar, cream cheese, cilantro, cumin, salt and pepper in a bowl.
6   Add in as much of the chopped jalapeno bits as you like.
7   Combine Panko and Parmigiano-Reggiano in a bowl.
8   Fill hollow peppers with cream cheese filling.
9   Press the filling side into the Panko to get a crispy coating.
10   Arrange poppers on a baking sheet.
11   Spray them lightly with cooking spray.
12   Bake about 19 minutes, until crumbs are browned and filling bubbles.
13   Let them rest for about 10 minutes before digging in.

This is the version often said by the President of Mexico in the national commemorative activity in the National Palace or at the church in Dolores Hidalgo. Local leaders can adapt this to their respective circumstances from the state to the municipal or city level. Again, these are the words being said by the President of Mexico in the national activity on the very evening on eve of Independence Day.
Mexicans!
Long live the heroes that gave us the Fatherland!
Long live Hidalgo!
Long live Morelos!
Long live Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez!
Long live Allende!
Long live Galena and the Bravos!
Long live Aldama and Matamoros!
Long live National Independence!
Long Live Mexico! Long Live Mexico! Long Live Mexico!

Que viva Mexico!!!

Asalam wa leykum to every one who is reading this blog, I haven't made a serious post in a while, this due the country's situation and personal struggles.

I have this huge lost almost two weeks ago when my dad passed away(May Allah have mercy on him), Then it was like an awakening for me when I realize that the most difficult thing-situation for a Converted Muslim Woman is not to wear hijab, but to lose some one you love and that ,that person wasn't a Muslim, that… believe me really hurts.

I'm feeling blessed for all what Allah have gave me and I'm pretty sure he knows best what is best for us, even when this could be hard to understand for a human, Al-hamdulillah for every thing!

I wish to all of you the best, enjoy the time you have with your beloved ones, if you as me, are the only Muslim in your family, remember there are a lot of sisters and brothers out there in your same situation and Allah, have chosen us from between millions of non-believers, so you know you are special and we should always say Al-hamdulillah and keep our relatives in our du'as, after all, nothing is impossible for Allah, he is the only one who can open the hearts of those persons to Islam.
