Hijab Fashion

Salam every body, is there a fashion trend called "Hijabi Fashion"? hahahaha, it just sounds a bit no sense for me. I believe fashion is for every body and hijab well, who knows?, could be for every body too, don't you think.

oh one little favor...please, please if you are a real Muslim stop saying "Marry Christmas or happy holidays"! ,you may think that is kind of rude not to answer with the same wishes when someone tell you marry Christmas but think about it twice, who should you grant, Allah or a simple human being?

From: Egypt's women.... to: Hilary Clinton...

Egyptian women don't need Clinton, says Egyptian minister

Minister responds to Clinton’s criticism of the abuse of women protesters saying Egyptian women can defend themselves

Fayza Aboul Naga, minister of planning and international cooperation, has slammed comments by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in which she described the treatment of Egyptian women by the military as “shocking.”

Aboul Naga stressed that Egyptian women are capable of defending themselves and do not need Clinton’s support. She added that Egyptian women have a rich history and have proven repeatedly that they are capable of fighting their own battles.

She also added that Egyptian women do not need foreign voices to demand their rights for them.

Earlier this week, Clinton lambasted the abuse of women during the recent clashes which included the part stripping and brutal beating of a veiled protester, an incident which garnered widespread international attention.

"This systematic degradation of Egyptian women dishonours the revolution, disgraces the state and its uniform and is not worthy of a great people," Clinton said in a speech at Georgetown University.

"Recent events in Egypt have been particularly shocking. Women are being beaten and humiliated in the same streets where they risked their lives for the revolution only a few short months ago,” she said.

On Tuesday, a women’s march protesting the brutal treatment of female protesters, attracted 10,000 women.

A number of demonstrators in the Abbasid (cairo) who support the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces that the American intervention in the internal affairs of Egypt, not only serve their own interests, stressing that the U.S. government exercised severe violence and repression against Americans demonstrators , if they threatened the security of the State, in addition to the practice of racism against the Arabs and Muslims.

The newspaper "Al-Ahram" ; publiched the question of a girl regarding the comments of Hillary : How do you accuse us of being against human rights if they have the worst forms of violence against humanity in Iraq and Afghanistan and support the Israeli practices against the Palestinian people?!

A number of protesters agreed that America is trying to interfere in the affairs of Egypt, somenthing that will be not allowed eather for the military or the Egyptian government.

ln december 23 Protesters in Cairo were holding a number of signs condemning the intervention of Hillary Clinton and U.S. Secretary of State, in the Egyptian internal affairs, and unfurled a banner that says:

"From Egypt's Women to Hillary .. Stay with Monica."
(من سيدات مصر إلى هيلاري كلينتون: خليكي في مونيكا)

The demonstrators were referring to Monica Lewinsky who was an American intern working in the White House in the mid-nineties and they have drawn media
into politics when she got involved in sexual scandal with former U.S. President Bill Clinton , the so-called "Monica Gate".

chanel hindi make-up & fashion inspiration

The Indian inspired pre-fall world of Chanel features Sari's, heavy eye makeup and couture like embellishment plus heavy jewellery all this between tables of a sumptuous Indian feast.

I have always believe in science fiction and fashion, you may wander what does this two things has in common, well let me tell you, all of them have a bit of trueness (did I used this word correct?),science fiction some times show you what we will be able to see in a not so far future mostly about technology, and fashion this days more than ever show who is having the power at least the consuming power in the world, we have seen the growing economic of countries as UAE then we have seen the most important designers featuring in their collection Abayas, Jalabiyas and the most trendy the Harem Pants, now with all this Economic situation around the world, we are seeing how new countries are emerging from the ground and showing to the world their impact in the world economy, we talk about China and India, now Chanel has featured India influence in the fashion world thanks to all this bolliwood stars, this btw is a growing business that goes together with fashion, we have seen how bolliwood stars are having the world recognition for their movies, and movies means money and fashion, I'm I wrong?

The Make-up

Leave it to Peter Philips, creative director of Chanel makeup, to create yet another gorgeous makeup look to complement the equally beautiful Chanel pre-fall collection. For the show, Philips drew inspiration from Southeast Asia and reinterpreted the kohl-rimmed eyes and bindi frequently seen on the region's beauty icons. Head pieces and bindi received the obligatory Chanel treatment and were fashioned using chains, pyramid studs, and pearls. To help balance out the bling factor of the head pieces, Philips emphasized the eyes with heavily-smoked lids and lush lashes, and kept the rest of the face bare and natural. Read on to find out which Chanel products Philips used for this ultra-glam look!

"Start by perfecting the complexion using Perfection Lumiere Long Wear Flawless Fluid Makeup SPF 10, which you'll apply all over the face," says Philips. "Then, dab Eclat Lumiere Highlighting Face Pen over the high points of your face, such as your cheek bones and the bridge of your nose to add extra dimension. Cover up blemishes and dark circles using Correcteur Perfection Long Lasting Concealer in your skin tone." To achieve the dramatic eyes in this collection, Philips lined eyes with Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner in Ebene to keep the heavy eye makeup from running. Then, he smudged Le Crayon Khol Intense Eye Pencil in Black around the lashline to add depth and create a smoky effect. "I curled lashes with Chanel's Precision Eyelash Curler and applied a generous coat of Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Black," says Philips, who also used Chanel's limited edition Illusion D'ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in Nirvana, (available in stores June 2012) around the entire eye and gave it a winged edge at the outer corners.

To finish off the look, Philips used more Chanel products debuting in summer 2012. "I used Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Brume d'Or to add a rosy tint to the cheeks and the new Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine in Empreinte."

****check all ingredients before you buy any of this cosmetics, may they content some haram ingredients, in this case there are lots of other similar products halal, so you can have the same look!

Muslim Wedding Tips

Salam dear readers, thanks for stop by

every day , today I'd like to introduce you the new section of Muslim Elegance FB Fan Page (remember you need to be signed in on FaceBook to can see the page): it is all about "WEDDING TIPS", this is focused in Muslim Weddings, I'll try to find some ideas, share experiences and tutorials that are mented to help all the muslim brides out there, hope to achieve this goal :)

This is just one example of what this is about, The first tip I'd like to give is about to having a Simple or Extravagant Wedding

Having very expensive dowers and extravagant wedding parties is something that goes against the Shariah .

The marriage which has the greatest blessing is the one with lesser financial
burden. Any time the burdens are lessened, the blessings are increased.

This is a matter that is many times caused by women. Women are the ones that often insist upon their husbands to set very high dower [for their daughter]. If a lesser dower is offered, they will say their daughter is deserving of such and such. Furthermore, expensive and luxurious wedding parties are prohibited by the Shariah . they fall under the command of the verse.

''But be not extravagant. Verily, He loves not those who are extravagant ”
(Surah Al- Anam 7:141)

Again, many times it is the women who force their husbands to do such things. They say that so and so’s party they had this and that. However, such gatherings must be according to the Shariah .The person should not spend what is beyond his means. He must also never be extravagant for Allah has prohibited extravagance.

M.E's tip is: Opt for a lovely and simple White wedding !
