Here's 7 REASONS why you may always wash your face at night

Of course we all know we're supposed to wash our faces at night...but did you know only about 50% of women wash their make-up off at night!(Don't look at me !)

sleep with a naked face that is!!!

Here's 7 REASONS why you may always wash your face at night now!

(no matter how tired you are):

#1. Your pores will look smaller. When makeup gets stuck in your pores, it can make them look bigger. When your pores get larger, this can lead to more bacteria building up inside them which can even cause acne, not to mention, irritate your skin!

#2. Most makeup products are loaded with different types of chemicals. The longer they stay on your skin, or you don’t remove them properly, the worse it is for your skin! You don't want to sleep with those chemicals on your face for them to have more time to penetrate your skin and can cause more damage for the long term.

#3. It allows the natural exfoliation process of shedding your skin, which will prevent your skin from looking dull. TIP: Incorporating exfoliating into your skin care regimen will encourage healthier looking skin.

#4. Makeup removal helps prevent skin inflammation, which can generate free radicals and collagen breakdown - associated with aging. No one wants to look older faster than they should! * Check the post Homemade makeup Remover here

#5. It allows your skin to breathe and helps maintain its natural tone. The skin is your largest "organ" and needs to breathe without pore clogging chemicals junking it up and causing acne!

#6. When you leave eye makeup on overnight, it can dry out the skin on your eyelids. TIP: After  wash your face at night, moisturize and coat the eye area with Vaseline or ALBA Un-Petroleum to add extra moisture your eyes!

#7. Proper removal of lip makeup will protect your lips and keep them from looking wrinkly, dry, chapped, or just prematurely aging! TIP: Have a TREAT BEAUTY JUMBO LIP BALM next to your bed to make sure my lips are coated in their yummy and organic goodness before  go off to dreamland!

by Stokes County Family Health Center

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each year, October is dedicated to increasing awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer, celebrating the lives of the many women who survived, and remembering those lost.
Muslim Elegance offers Ready to Wear Bridal & Party Hijabs in your favorite color this month Pink is the color.

Breast cancer remains the most frequently occurring cancer in women and is the second leading cause of cancer deaths of North Carolina women. The N.C. Central Cancer Registry projects that over 9,000 women in North Carolina will be diagnosed with and over 1,000 will die from breast cancer. It is more important than ever that we spread the message that early detection and prompt treatment of breast cancer saves lives. Ninety-six percent of women who find and treat breast cancer early will be cancer-free after five years.

We encourage all women to take charge of their health by going for regular breast screenings. Breast screenings check a woman’s breasts for cancer before noticeable signs or symptoms are present. There are three main tests used to screen for breast cancer:

• Breast self-exam is when you check your own breasts for lumps, swelling, changes in size or shape of the breast, and any other changes in the breast or underarm.

• Clinical breast exam is a breast exam by a doctor or nurse, who uses his or her hands to carefully feel for lumps or other changes in the entire breast area.

• Mammogram is an X-ray of the breast. Mammograms are the best method to detect breast cancer early when it is easier to treat and before it is big enough to feel or cause other symptoms.

We urge every woman to talk with their health care provider about which screenings are right for them.

Evening hijab fashion styles and makeup

This season we saw a lot of lace in fashion, being Muslim does not mean that we can not  adopt this trends, although the photos are not entirely suitable for a true Muslim they do serve to give an idea of how we can adapt a simple hijab style by adding lace applications and pins with some bling on .

I'll recommend use a Lycra Cotton scarf before this kind of hijabs to cover your neck and then style the hijab with satin or chiffon fabric and add the lace appliques or some sparkly pins at the end,if you don't know how to do that remember Muslim Elegance custom made ready to wear hijabs you only need to slip them on your head and that's it!.

We also see how many of our sisters out there are not able to find a more conservative evening dresses, the best and easy way to cover a bit more of the body is by using this Lycra body tops that right now we can find them also in a shimmery look that makes them a bit more of "evening fashion" they goes good with satin fabric and if you still want something more remember you can find our new line of "Capes" at Muslim Elegance that will helps you to cover even more and still be fashionable.

Adel,

ADEL: SKYFALL's song

I must be the only one in this world who hasn't listened Adel until few months ago, seriously since I'm Muslim I practically don't listen any music except for some times when I found something interesting on the computer and I'll listen only one or two songs and that's all, I don't even know what is going on on the music world but something I can barely forgive myself is how I couldn't have ever listen to Adel, she is so amazing Allah give to her a great voice mash'allah, I got in love with her song "We could have it all" most for the music, voice and video than for the song's history, but then I listened to " Someone like you" OMG who doesn't have had a broken heart?
Here is the official lyric video ,Enjoy I'm sure you will.

Unless you've been living under a rock today, chances are you've already heard the leaked, full version of Adele's sultry theme for Skyfall, but at 0:07 (UK time), the official lyric video dropped (as planned) and demands that you slip those headphones back on for another listen.

Fun fact: A 77-piece orchestra accompanies Adele in the lush, 4:50-long theme, recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London – the same place The Beatles recorded their first single and then some.
